About The Book: The book ‘Towards Social Harmony’ is a collection of short journalistic articles on a variety of themes written by the author at different times. It has five sections. The sections are ‘Social themes, political themes, religion, inter-faith and ethics’. Most of the articles are critical comments on current happenings or contemporary themes. All of them present a clear perspective on a certain dimension of social harmony or challenges to social harmony. All the articles were published separately in diverse journals and the details of the respective publication are given at the end of the article, as well. Arranging the articles in to sections and having it published as a book would benefit the larger public. That is the logic of this book.
