The Indian Home Rule - M. K. Gandhi
About The Product:
Hind Swaraj or Indian Home Rule is a book by Mahatma Gandhi, written in 1909. Gandhi shares his thoughts on self-rule, modern civilization, and mechanization. He criticizes European civilization and advocates a moral approach to empire. The British banned the book in 1910 for being rebellious. Written in Gujarati during his journey from London to South Africa, Hind Swaraj is a dialogue between "The Reader" and "The Editor," where Gandhi argues for true independence through self-reliance, non-violence, and rejection of Western ways.
