Yatish Kumar is a noted poet, author, and senior officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering. Born on 21 August 1976 in Munger, Bihar, he has served as the youngest President and Managing Director of a public sector undertaking.His first poetry collection, “Antas Ki Khurchan”, was published in 2021, while “Aur Bhav” and his memoir “Borsi Bhar Aanch” also received wide appreciation in literary circles. He is the President of the Kolkata-based literary organization “Neelambar” and has been actively associated with various literary and social initiatives.For his contributions to literature and administration, he has received several honours, including the Maithili Sharan Gupt Award, Jaipur Sahitya Samman, and many national and regional awards.
