Apart from the famous Idli, Guntur is synonymous with another food item, one that's an inseparable part of Andhra cuisine - the Gongura. It is one of the 7 Pickles on the Telugu platter

The leafy flavor and the fried spices are made into a paste-like mixture that is dark green in color and with a smell to make hungry stomachs reach for our bottle. 

The deep-dark green pickle is made by the Uppu Gongura method and then turned into the Jandhyala Pickles’ Gongura, one that's so perfect for almost every Telugu dish and can be eaten and enjoyed year-round. Tastes best with a combination of hot rice and a generous amount of ghee!!
